Arrivals, Transfers & Tour Briefings

One of the most important aspects of travel is what arrangements are in place to make sure you are met on arrival and transferred safely to your hotel or other accommodation. Arriving in a foreign country and how things roll out causes even experienced travelers some anxiety, so alleviate some of the trepidation we take arrival meet and greet, transfers and pre-departure tour briefings on our scheduled and private guided tours very seriously.

Airport Arrival Meet and Greet

A royal greeting awaits you right from the moment you step into the arrivals hall. You will be received by a smiling tour leader or guide holding a plaque with your name or the name of your tour group clearly printed in bold. The documentation and vouchers you receive before you leave home will also have this service itemized, along with our 24-hour emergency contact number.

Ever wondered why you never see celebrities queuing at the airport? For a nominal charge we can organize a third party service at most international airports and you will be greeted as you step of the plane. Once your passport has been stamped for entry, our representative will guide you smoothly through the fast-track passport control, assist you at baggage claim area, escort you through customs and introduce you to your guide. Contact us for more details.

Arrival and departure transfers are usually included in you tour fare. You will need to supply us with your flight details as soon as possible after booking. If you require pre or post-tour accommodation this can be organized through our offices. Airport transfers that are included in your tour fare will be rearranged to coincide with your arrival and departure flights if you have booked pre- or post tour accommodation.

Pre-departure tour briefings

Your tour vouchers will clearly indicate where and when pre tour briefings for scheduled and private guided tours will be held. This important meeting is usually held at your accommodation establishment just before dinner. You can call us on +27 82 848 4893+27 82 848 4893 to verify the details.

There will be a notice board with a document visible at your meeting point, which displays your tour code. This notice will have details as to where in the hotel the meeting will be held, and if you have not already met them who your tour leader or guides are. Should you be unable to find this information please inquire at reception.

Although unlikely, meeting points may be subject to change, and we recommend you check the details online at least one month prior to departure.

This meeting will give you an overview of your tour and include practical information on how to get the most out of your time. You will need to bring with you your passport, any tour vouchers in your possession and a copy of your travel insurance policy to this briefing, so that your tour leader can obtain important details that are essential to the running of the tour, and prepare any necessary cross border passenger manifests.
